History

ACE Wizard Ltd is a family run business set up by brothers Rob & Ashley Warburton and was created to help provide companies with something more than just compliance when undertaking a TM44 Air Conditioning Inspections.

In 2011 while carrying out assessments ourselves, we recognised how much time could be saved if we had access to a database of air conditioning systems, furthermore, we could then use this information in multiple places within the energy report to provide a more detailed and informative report to the building owner. It was at this point the concept of the ACE Wizard system began to be developed and the cloud-based application has been being used to provide energy and cost impact information since. The company name is an acronym of Air Conditioning Energy (ACE), and Wizard as the software leads an energy assessor through the process of creating a report, automatically calculating the energy and cost impact for the inspected building.

Officially launched in April 2015 as a complimentary Advanced Air Conditioning Energy report to the 'standard' Air Conditioning Inspection report (TM44). In 2020, ACE Wizard became the first TM44 software to be approved by the Department of Levelling Up, Housing & Communities for nearly a decade and is now used on over 30% of all Air Conditioning Inspections carried out in the UK.
